There were some misunderstandings regarding payments from the beginning, which made the welcome confusing and unpleasant. Note: This review, particularly regarding the description of the room and amenities, refers to the "La Quattro" room, the room for two people in which we stayed. The heating is inadequate, especially in the evening: it's turned on too late, making the room cold, especially when washing. This is definitely an area that could be improved. The bed is very uncomfortable: there's neither a base nor slats, but simply a rigid wooden base with two single mattresses placed side by side to form a double. The mattress is rather cheap, and with such a base, the result is an uncomfortable sleep, with unpleasant back pain upon awakening. Inside the closet, we found unused pillows with obvious stains, a detail that doesn't convey a good impression in terms of cleanliness and attention to detail. There was a kettle in the room, but with only one cup, despite the room being for two people. Furthermore, three coffee capsules were available, but there was no machine to use them, either in the room or in the common areas. This detail leaves one perplexed about the organization of the services offered. The willingness to accommodate any requests is also not the best: every request seems to be a nuisance, making the stay less than pleasant. Also, be careful when booking from the B&B's official website: only some rooms include breakfast, which wasn't immediately clear during the booking process. When we booked, only one room was available, with no clear indication of the difference between rooms with breakfast included and rooms without. Since it's a Bed and Breakfast, we assumed breakfast was included. In our case, it wasn't, and it was only possible to add it at a rather high extra cost, which we wouldn't recommend. In conclusion, between the cold, lack of comfort, and lack of adequate amenities, the overall experience was negative, but the location was good. Unfortunately, it doesn't reflect what one would expect from a true Bed and Breakfast. This review is written as constructive criticism, based exclusively on our experience in the "La Quattro" room for two people.

Quiet, clean, and convenient location for exploring Florence. Easy to walk from the station.

Do not book through external platforms like Falabella, Expedia, or Booking.com. The hotel staff, unaware that these companies book accommodations, don't know who to contact via WhatsApp or email. This caused us problems when trying to access the facilities, which are only accessible with numerical codes that they must provide. Access can be difficult for elderly people (without technological knowledge) or children. The elevator is tiny; it only fit me and a 23 kg suitcase. Therefore, access would be nearly impossible for people with physical limitations.
