The place is acceptable; here's a summary of the pros and cons. Pros: The location is very good. It's excellent even if you have to take the Viking Ferry because it's just steps from the station. It's very close to the Orthodox Cathedral and the city center in general. The room is spacious, comfortable, and acceptable. The staff's service is acceptable, but it could be improved with some members. Cons: At reception, you have to fill out a form by hand with your information. This is very outdated. I haven't had to do that myself in a hotel for many years (it was the staff's job), and it's inconvenient because as soon as you arrive in the city, all you want is to rest quickly, especially since it's so cold when you arrive from the airport that your fingers go numb. But the worst part is that I returned to the hotel a week later and still had to fill out the same form again (my information hadn't changed). There's a gym, but its hours are too short, from 6 pm to 11 pm, if I remember correctly. Anything to improve: At reception, you have to fill out a form by hand with your information. I stayed in February, and the room was indeed very cold. A portable heater they send to your room helped somewhat. To check in, they ask for your credit card as a sort of deposit, or guarantee in case of any charges. But just like the initial point, it's very outdated and inconvenient because I have to keep an eye on my card to make sure there aren't any erroneous charges since I've left that access open.
