SEAFLATS Iate Plaza Hotel

I booked this place through booking.com. The reviews were great so I decided to check out the place with “amazing views”. I travel with a service animal but I always look for pet friendly places so I don’t receive nasty vibes during my stay. I let them know in advance that I was coming with a service animal and when I got there, they asked for all his paperwork and certificates which I always have. They took it and photocopied everything and despite that, they said I need to pay for my service dog as a pet. I let them know that this is the first place in the world that I was being charged for having a medical condition and they said they still need to charge me. I told them they can take a deposit if they are worried about my service dog causing damage to the room but they said no we are charging you for a pet. I didn't have a choice so I paid the fee. When I got to the room I was very surprised how broken down and shady everything looked. It looked like a 70s old motel. You can see in the pictures that I posted. They don’t offer any refunds (of course) so I had to Stay. I went to use the sauna which was supposed to be open at 5Pm but when I got there at 5:30 it was still closed and they were calling people to come open it but they didn't come for another hour. I read in one review how your car will get damaged in the parking lot but I didn’t believe them .. it’s true . MY RENTAL CAR WAS KEYED ON THE HOOD OVERNIGHT. When the valet brought the car to me there was a lot of commotion in the small lane in front of the hotel so I didn’t see it until I got to return my rental car. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!! STAY FAR AWAY!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! I HAVE ATTACHED ALL THE PICTURES FOR REFERENCE!! I reached out to the property for some solutions and they haven't got back to me. They simply don't care about customer service!!!

Good hotel location. Close to various leisure options. The rooms are very old and it seems that maintenance/updating has been somewhat neglected (for example, plastic faucets and taps, old-style electrical outlets). Good pools. Good breakfast. The restaurant menu options (which is outsourced and not owned by the hotel) are expensive for what they offer.
