Just attended the seago for Sunday lunch, we were a party of 4 each meal was fabulous I got roast beef with all the trimmings keeping in mind the knife went through the beef like butter 5* they catered for my mother who has celiac with a stunning turkey and ham dinner which she was well pleased with along with stunning desserts they waiters and waitresses were very help and pleasant which alone was great.. when we went into the restaurant you could fell the heat straight away as it was wet cold and raining outside will defo be back very soon again for food and will pass this positive feedback on to family and friends thanks for a lovely Sunday meal

Clearly very short staffed. Called in yesterday 11am for breakfast. When noone came near us I went to the counter to ask if we order there, I was told someone would be down to the table. I waited another 20 minutes and went up and asked if someone could take our order, we still hadn't been shown a menu. But the 3 of us just decided on scones thinking it would be the quickest option. A pleasant and apologetic man took our order. Again it took longer than a scone and coffee should to receive our food. I will admit it was very busy. But from what I could see the few staff there working were trying their best and working as hard as they possibly could. When paying I asked the lady if they were busier than usual this morning, and she said they're always this busy and although she never said it I could tell it was wearing her down. It's put me off calling in on the way past for a "quick coffee". While the coffee and scones were delicious. My friendship group have found the same with the "bottomless" brunches too. Overtime the service has gotten slower, sitting with empty glasses waiting for the next ones to come, while one person takes orders for all the tables.
