Seascape Hotel

My friend booked Seascape hotel for me as a birthday present and I was so excited when I looked at the pics online. But when we actually got to the property- it was nothing like advertised. The hotel is dirty. The staff are super rude and the security guard was sleeping the whole time we were there. Not safe at all. It’s on a creepy dark sandy road with a ton of potholes in the middle of bushes and no where near the beach. I feel so bad my friend totally got scammed. Hopefully future travelers don’t have to experience what we experienced. Worst birthday trip ever :(

There is not one good thing I can say about my experience here. Instead of writing out a list of reasons not to stay here, all I will say is that the most honest reviews are the ones that do not have 5 stars. Accuracy is 100% true because I witnesses and experienced the same exact things. Don't waste your money here. Hugely inflated price point for the type of accommodation that you will receive.

Honestly I am so disappointed in this hotel. It’s not my first time staying here and it got worse each time. This was my last time. It’s gone downhill so much in terms of the cleanliness, the hotel staff is not friendly at all, and the management is horrible. Good luck finding anyone at the front desk if you ever need anybody. They’re never there when there’s an emergency (I had to deal with 2 power outages and it’s pitch black) or a need for anything. The sheets are dirty (and beds are uncomfortable). The kitchen cabinets are dirty. The bathroom sink drawers are dirty. The corners of the room are dirty. It just appears clean, because it smells good when you walk in but when you really look, everything is dirty. The pool is actually the most disgusting. The pictures are so deceiving. I’m actually really surprised about all these positive reviews because these people must have been in some kind of dream world or something if they didn’t notice how dirty this place was. Not to mention, the insects. I don’t even know how deep I want to go into this, but let me just tell you if you don’t like cockroaches then do not go to this hotel because it is loaded with them. Inside, outside, everywhere. I just cannot say enough bad things about this place. It’s so unfortunate because I used to go here and I loved it before but ever since they built the new townhouses, they really started to slack with the hotel, they don’t care at all about the guests, they treat you differently for sure, they even give you different towels, the towels that you get when you stay at the hotel have rips and stains on them and then when you go to the beach, you see the people from the townhouses with their brand new pool towels that looks so similar to yours, but they’re not ripped or stained to show that their townhouse guests. It really sets an odd tone and creates a divide. And it doesn’t feel good at all. Especially when you’re paying really high prices for the hotel to begin with. Anyway, the mix of people is odd also. You have people who are young and just wanna have fun and who go clubbing and partying and come back all hours of the night being super loud and obnoxious and then you have families children and then you have older couples and really fancy people staying in the town houses, it’s an odd arrangement for sure. The other thing that everybody should really know is that you need a car because this place is really far from everything. The bicycles never work. They’re always broken an the golf cart is never on time to take you to the beach. So you just wait in the heat, and that sun is very hot. Definitely definitely need a car. You’re in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road. And at night time it gets very creepy and sketchy and there’s lots of dogs barking, and chasing cars, and there’s a nightclub right across the street that brings a lot of sketchy characters around. The security guard usually just sleeps at the front, he literally doesn’t even wake up so you’re not secure at all. Would not recommend to anybody whatsoever for any reason. Spend your money elsewhere. It’s so not worth it here.
