Seaside Park Hotel – a huge disappointment for a very high price Our stay at the Seaside Park Hotel in Kołobrzeg unfortunately turned out to be a huge disappointment. With prices and standards advertised as 4★ premium, we expected a well-organized, family-friendly hotel. Instead, we encountered organizational chaos, skimping on basic necessities, and a lack of attention to child safety. A few examples from our stay: Pool towels ran out in the middle of the day – no refills and no meaningful response from the staff. Dinner was only water – no juices or other drinks, despite the price of the stay. Breakfast was incredibly crowded during peak hours. The only available table was dirty and covered with plates from the previous guests. Requests to clean up were ignored – we had to do it ourselves. I pulled up to the hotel for a moment to load our bags. The parking lot was completely packed, so I parked on an icy patch of ground that looked like a regular road in winter. It turned out to be a "green area." Instead of a normal conversation or an attempt to help, I was immediately reprimanded by security and reception for breaking the rules. They showed zero understanding of the situation. The most disturbing situation, however, was the children's bouncy castle. My daughters (ages 3 and 5) were playing there with other small children, but a group of boys aged around 10-14 were also using it. They were climbing onto the outskirts of the castle and jumping off, often very close to the younger children. There were no rules, no information about the ages of the users, and no supervision from staff. A serious accident could easily occur in such a situation. Furthermore, the play area by the reception is poorly designed – there's no Wi-Fi and no space for parents (e.g., a sofa or a few comfortable seats) to wait for the children. Compared to other hotels in Kołobrzeg at a similar price, the difference is significant. At facilities such as the Hotel Aquarius SPA, Radisson Resort Kołobrzeg, and Diune Resort, children's attractions are supervised by an animator or lifeguard, service is efficient, and guests feel genuinely concerned about their comfort and safety. Unfortunately, the impression here is completely different: lack of organization, skimping on basic necessities, chaos in the restaurant, and a lack of supervision at children's attractions. Finally, a minor detail, but one that demonstrates the level of attention to detail – the toilet seat in the bathroom wasn't stable, and a damaged trash can with a falling lid woke the entire family up at night. Once is enough. At this price and the stated standard, I definitely wouldn't recommend this place, especially for families with small children.
