Seizan Yamato

This is my second stay with my child. The staff were very friendly from the moment we arrived, The room and hot springs were comfortable. (The female staff were always smiling and lovely.) Dinner was delicious, and there was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, which was nice. All rooms are private, so children can feel at ease. However, I was disappointed with the way the male staff member in the dining area treated me. I was late for breakfast due to my carelessness (I received a call and told them to come immediately), and I deeply regret that. However, even though I rushed over with my child, apologized, and finished eating in about 30 minutes, I was disappointed that the staff member's attitude seemed quite cold from start to finish. (He didn't respond to my apology, didn't make eye contact, served the food sloppily, and spoke in a low, annoyed voice.) I understand that there are rules, and it's true that we caused inconvenience and are at fault, but I think we could have had a more pleasant stay if he had been a little more considerate.

My husband and I stayed here on the second Sunday of November. From check-in to check-out, I was not only satisfied, but also satisfied from the time I made the reservation until I got home. I have several incurable illnesses, and in addition, I have a lower limb disability. Advance confirmation and special arrangements were necessary. The way they handled my inquiries and confirmations was extremely impressive. The experience was good from the time we entered the premises until we left, but the food was especially good. While the day we stayed wasn't our anniversary, we had celebrated our 30th anniversary a short while earlier, and we had mentioned that this was our special trip. We were surprised by the service provided for our anniversary meal, but we were truly delighted. The food itself was excellent in appearance, taste, and quantity. We ate in our room, but the food was served at such perfect times that I wondered if there was a camera somewhere. We enjoyed the meal at just the right pace, including the alcohol. The friendly service from the staff during the meal, the attention to detail, and the high quality of the food were evident. The kiriboshi daikon radish, a rather unassuming dish...is the recipe a secret? Due to my disability and the need for 24-hour oxygen therapy, I have been unable to bathe in my favorite hot springs, but it was wonderful to finally be able to bathe in the hot spring bath on the balcony of my room for the first time in years. It was my own mistake when I checked out, but I noticed a discrepancy in the bill when I got home and contacted them, who quickly addressed the issue. The customer service, room, facilities, food, and bath were all tops of all the places I've stayed. I don't go there often, but I would like to go again. I'm glad I chose Aoyama Yamato. It's a fond memory. Thank you for your help.
