I'm giving two stars solely for the room's decor and the incredible view. However, the service is beyond mediocre. Arriving at the hotel at 2:00 PM, we wanted to order juice, as indicated on their menu. The waitress didn't even bother to come up from behind the counter to give us the menu or even take our order. Apparently, the only drinks available were Coke, beer, and water (according to the waitress). Whatever. We then asked her what time the kitchen closed in the evening, and she told us: 9:00 PM. We wanted to order food at 7:00 PM, and the same waitress as at lunchtime practically brushed us off. We wanted rice, and she had the nerve to tell us there wasn't any! No rice in a country where they eat rice 24/7. I've traveled all over Indonesia, and this is the first time I've been treated so badly. In the morning, breakfast consisted of a mere egg, half a slice of white bread, and four tiny pieces of fruit, all served after a one-hour wait. This hotel is a disaster! Seriously, don't come here.

This place has a ton of style! The decor and atmosphere are bohemian chic and I felt right at home. The staff are friendly and helpful and the pool is lovely. Each bungalow has a beautiful view from its porch. It's in the jungle, so there are geckos on the walls and birds calling all the time!
