The location is prime! Walking distance of cafes, restaurants and bars. The metro was close and easy to use for further trips. The staff is so kind - always opening doors, saying hello and had recommendations for any of our questions. We stayed on the top floor and it had a beautiful view. Only issue my husband had was the ceilings - if you are on the taller side, the rooms on this floor may not be ideal.

This hotel is 100% non-smoking. It's budget-friendly and in a good location, and that's where the positives end. As far as I understand, the hotel manager is... so-so. He loves to write huge sheets of text, as if he were some kind of government official. In his mind, more text = politeness, but that's not true at all, because you can be polite, but save the time of tourists who came to relax, not read poems. The manager/manager with whom I corresponded gets angry very easily in the chat, although I maintained a polite tone the entire time. A very fragile ego. Perhaps it's a man 😏😄 He repeatedly emphasized that they are not a luxury hotel, although this is obvious. The nicest employee is the man at reception, but otherwise, few speak English and try to create an atmosphere of comfort and hospitality. I also requested a second blanket when booking, then wrote the day before check-in, but the blanket never showed up in the room until I reminded them twice 🤷🏻‍♀️ But all of this can be tolerated and negotiated. The biggest drawback for me is the terribly strong cigarette smoke smell coming from the air conditioner. It hurts your eyes. Someone in the building smokes, and it draws smoke into the room. It's impossible to sleep. But without air conditioning, it's cold in the winter, since the room has three windows and is quite cool, so I had to use it. Yes, it didn't smell 24/7, but only when someone was smoking. And overall, the room smelled like stale cigarette smoke from the textiles (curtains), so most likely, people smoke in the rooms. When I asked to change our room, the owner assured me that no one had complained before and that all the rooms were new. We ended up spending time packing up our things to check out and move to another room, but after the "inspection," the manager wrote that no smell was noticed. I just hate it when a customer is made a fool of. It's incredibly disrespectful. They did ozone treatment, but it's a temporary measure that only affects the room and doesn't affect the ventilation. So if you're sensitive to odors, I wholeheartedly recommend finding another hotel in the area, as the area is fantastic!

The location is fantastic, we really liked our room and the hotel in general, it was very clean, the staff were very kind, we had a very calm and pleasant holiday. The information on the website where we booked wasn't up-to-date, there wasn't a separate breakfast area, but we didn't need it since our room had a kitchenette. Everything needed for cooking is available, the air conditioning fan is very noisy when it's on high, but the noise decreases when the fan is turned down. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but other than that we were very satisfied with everything.
