It is a very large-scale hotel. It consisted of two buildings. We stayed in the Krup Teng Wing, and it was convenient because it was only a one-minute walk from the ground-floor lobby to Saphan Taksin subway station. The hotel was clean, and the view of the Chao Phraya River was really great. The only downside was that there were no staff members who spoke Korean. There were mostly Chinese, European, and Japanese guests here. It is a place I would love to visit again 💗

The Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok truly embodies the charm of Bangkok, making full use of its location along the Chao Phraya River. The breakfast, in particular, was impressive. The Thai food selection was incredibly extensive, offering a wide variety of classic dishes—so much so that I personally felt you could experience about 80% of Thai cuisine here. The flavors were authentic, making it a highly satisfying hotel breakfast. Breakfast starts at 6:30 AM, which was a great advantage for those with early morning sightseeing or travel plans. Seating overlooking the Chao Phraya River allows you to relax and enjoy the view of boats passing by and the tranquil morning scenery. In the evenings, live jazz music plays in the bar on the first floor, creating a different, more relaxed atmosphere. The combination of the riverside scenery and music created a truly luxurious Thai experience. With its excellent location, food, and atmosphere, this hotel is highly recommended for both first-time visitors to Bangkok and repeat travelers. The shower water pressure seemed a little weak, but there was a bathtub, which was nice for relaxing my tired body. There are plenty of restaurants, a 7-Eleven, a shopping mall, and massage parlors nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to do.

The hotel is ideally located right on the Chao Phraya River, with many rooms offering river views that are quite pleasant. The overall environment is quiet, and the lobby and public areas are spacious, giving it the feel of a long-established five-star hotel. The breakfast selection is plentiful, and the dining atmosphere is also pleasant. While the facilities aren't particularly new, they are well-maintained, and the service is generally consistent.
