I stay in a lot hotel for work, and a lot of them are Sheraton properties. This particular one is very nice, with a friendly staff, basic and particular amenities. I really liked how centrally located it is to stores and attractions. The Rocky Steps are 15 minutes in one direction, Reading Terminal Market is 15 minutes in another direction. Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are a 10 minute walk away too.

- Intermittent hot water. At best, it took at least a minute to get up to an acceptable temperature. At worst it dropped out completely. Unpleasant surprise in late December. -Poor retrofitting (impossible to scan key card in a packed elevator. Despite there being two sets of buttons, there is only one scanner.) -Noisy rooms (AC unit, plumbing, outside noise. Door rattles when neighbors close doors.) -Front desk needed to be called 3 times in order to reach a person. Subpar rooms(peeling wallpaper in bathroom due to moisture damage, leaking faucet, thin duvets despite the season, holes in bedding, AC blows directly on bed.)

I come to philly to work and this place is my favorite. Nice staff. Great benefits if you have lounge access. The food is out of this world. Those eggs at breakfast and then ive had their catfish and grits one night and some chicken smothered in the most amazing sauce ive ever had. Free drinks in the evening. Saves so much time and money and im always wondering what the chef will cook up next. Camree in the lounge is always smiling and happy to chat.
