Our go to hotel whenever we are visiting Portsmouth. It's an older property, but it has a lot more character than many of the newer places that have gone up in recent years. Front desk is always super nice. As a titanium member, they usually give me a nice little upgrade. Always appreciated. The lounge, while modest in size has some snacks throughout the day. Relatively easy walk to get down to the shops.

Cockroach was found by me in our bathroom, I immediately reported it and was told they would take $40 parking fee off the bill and move us to another room. When I got home I emailed company headquarters, they apologized and said they would inform hotel management. Hotel management sent an apology with a note saying how cleanliness is important to them . Finding a cockroach in a hotel room is disgusting and if there is one there could be a lot more. If you choose to stay at the Sheraton in Portsmouth keep your eyes open for cockroaches especially in the restaurant.
