Very pleasant stay! The staff are really welcoming, kind, and attentive. The rooms are nice too; only thing is the elevator buttons are a bit hard to use and the bathroom lights are motion sensor so they turn off mid-shower, which can be frustrating. Great location though- super accessible to SoHo and Chinatown!

I stayed here the week before Christmas and overall had a really great experience. Like most hotels in New York, whether it is the right fit really depends on what kind of trip you are planning. Location wise, even though the name says Tribeca, it honestly felt more like the edge of Chinatown than central Tribeca. That was not a bad thing for us at all. Chinatown and Tribeca are both great areas with good food and a lot of character. Since we were in town mainly for Christmas activities, we did have to go uptown pretty often to get to the main holiday sights. That said, the hotel is very close to multiple subway lines, which made getting around easy. Most rides were about ten to fifteen minutes, and it was actually nice coming back to a quieter area at the end of the day. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and very quiet, which is something I always appreciate in the city. After long days of walking, that alone made the stay worth it. The staff was also excellent. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and checked in to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do to improve our stay, which made the experience feel more personal. Another nice surprise was the surrounding area. There were several solid restaurants nearby, and we loved being able to explore all day, then stop for a foot massage close to the hotel before heading back to the room to relax. It was the perfect way to unwind after long sightseeing days. I would definitely recommend this hotel. If your goal is to be steps away from the main Christmas attractions, it may feel a little far. But if you are okay with a short subway ride and want somewhere quiet, comfortable, and well connected, this is a great option. We had no complaints and would happily stay here again.

I had the impression that Sheraton brand is at least a 4-star hotel. This Sheraton Tribeca is more like a 2-3 star motel standard judging by its room and service standard. As Platinum Elite of Marriott Bonvoy - the welcome at check-in reception lack lustre - the guy just mumbled away their template welcome transcript. They failed to inform guests BEFORE that they are undergoing MAJOR CONSTRUCTION. They only say their restaurants are closed (cafe doesn’t open until 2PM). Imagine my horror when I check into my dingy dark room and the drilling above starts going non-stop for 30-min. It was causing my bed to vibrate. The corner room that they gave me was like a hole in the wall with a tiny jail cell like dirty window with little natural light. The furnishing was old and rickety - old tiny cupboard with no slippers/robe. Carpet is grey/black - just felt grimy. The atmosphere of the hotel at lobby and room just felt gloomy and dark. Absolutely made me feel despair at my environment. I checkout within 2 hours - the front desk did not once apologize for the commotion of their renovation. In fact he spoke less than 5 sentence to me - just start typing away at the computer - I had to ask if he heard my request - then only he said he is helping me to process my check out. It is the WORSE hotel experience I’ve ever had. Listen with sound on to the video of the drilling. I would NOT recommend anyone to stay here.
