This was my first time visiting Shimoda, and the hotel staff were all very kind and welcoming. The building itself may not be particularly new, but it was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. All the meals were delicious, with simmered golden-eyed snapper as the highlight, as well as local fish sashimi, spiny lobster, and abalone - I was truly satisfied! The dried fish for breakfast was also delicious. The location, with views of the coast from the hotel, was great, and the hot springs were excellent! Thanks to you, I was able to have a very satisfying trip. I would like to stay here again if I travel to Shimoda again.

I stayed for three days and two nights. I arrived by taxi, and as soon as my car was in sight, the person waiting for me came outside and greeted me with a smile. The view from the lobby is amazing, so I recommend checking in as the sun sets. The facilities are a little old, but they're kept so clean that it doesn't bother me. I was traveling alone, but the staff were all polite and helpful. The food was also delicious. There are time restrictions if you want to order additional meals, so it's best to check in advance. The bath was also quite spacious. The starry sky from the open-air bath was absolutely beautiful. (The water in the open-air observation bath is a little lukewarm, so be careful not to get cold.) It's a little far from town, so going out for drinks at night is a bit of a hassle. It might be better to eat at the inn.

The email correspondence was friendly and polite, and the on-site service on the day was also very kind, which was great. The ocean view and sound of the waves from the room were very pleasant. The open-air bath was also great.
