Check-in on Saturday was very crowded, just as it was when I visited in 2018. While APA and others have introduced automatic check-in systems to shorten check-in times, this is an analog hotel with only a tablet guest register. I arrived at 3 p.m., got a numbered ticket, and waited 35 minutes. What an incredible waste of time. It was really tough, as the live show was about to start. I finally got to my room and prepared to leave, but the room didn't have the air purifier that every hotel has. The room was dusty. Dust was everywhere, and it was completely normal. There was dust piled up on the desk and other things. Luxury hotels are a thing of the past. The toilet was old, the sink was cracked, and the bathroom curtains smelled damp. After the live show, I had dinner and returned to my room a little after 10 p.m. I could hear the door next door closing and footsteps from above. Even though there was carpet, I could hear children running. I heard a thumping noise so loud I wanted to go and see what was making it. Furthermore, starting at around 5am, you can hear the beeping of some machine or something every few minutes. This sound continues throughout the day and is very annoying. You can also clearly hear the Shinkansen, as well as the sounds of ambulances and motorcycles on the road in front of the hotel. I think the soundproofing is of a Showa-era level. If you stay for multiple nights, you hang a sign on the doorknob to excuse cleaning or sheet changes, but towels are not replenished. APA and other hotels only leave towels in front of the door and replenish them, but this hotel does not. Even though it's a luxury hotel. Many of the hotels around Shin-Yokohama Station are old, and their management philosophy, service, and facilities have not kept up with the times. I hope an APA or Sotetsu hotel will open soon.

This hotel is perfect for families. It is a luxurious hotel with a circular building and an open-air lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
