Staying overnight These are the best! The open-air bath and indoor bath were built by bath lovers. The open-air bath is located in a fantastic spot along the river. Both men and women are required to wear clothing in the mixed bathing area. It's visible from the road, the mixed bath can be seen from the men's open-air bath, and it's even possible to see from your room, so it's important to wear clothing. The open-air bath has shallow areas and steps where you can sit, so you can stay in for as long as you like. It was raining and I was a little scared of bears, so I couldn't stay in for long at night, but on a clear day, I could probably stay in forever, enjoying the starry sky. It depends on the location, but the water is generally lukewarm. The mineral deposits are also incredible. The amount of mineral deposits is comparable to that of Futamata Radium Onsen in Hokkaido. At first, the water was so clear I couldn't really tell, but once my eyes adjusted, I was amazed at the sheer amount. It even accumulated at the bottom. And while it's lukewarm, it's quite warming. I actually think the sulfur content is quite strong. Like Tamagawa Onsen, it had a slight effect on my skin. The indoor bath isn't very large, but there's a large rock in the wooden tub, so you could stay in it forever. You can stay in both baths for the entire stay, the sound of the river is lovely, and although meals are not included so you'll need to think about buying them yourself, there are quite a few places to eat if you look around, so this is a great place to stay. The bridge is also quite quaint. By the way, day trippers started coming in as early as 8am, so I think it's nice to have the place all to yourself. I'd like to stay at this inn again in other seasons.

I took a day trip to the baths. Day trips are limited to the open-air baths along the river. It cost 500 yen per person. It has three tiers, with the top two being men-only (no swimsuits allowed) and the bottom being mixed (swimsuits allowed). This tub might be the only one for women? The smell of sulfur and hot spring deposits wafted through the air, making it a very pleasant hot spring. If it was sunny, the view would have been amazing too.
