The best place to go to the snow in Andorra. You don't have to cross the street from the Funicamp. The service is excellent, and the apartments are very well-equipped with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, and so is the sofa bed. You can't hear a thing from the neighbors; even the interior doors of the apartment are soundproofed. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location – a 2-3-minute walk in ski boots from the Funicamp lift. Another huge plus is the spaciousness of the apartments – they are large (at least ours was) with a kitchenette and living room, a separate bedroom, and a separate hallway with wardrobes for storing belongings. A third plus is cleanliness – the rooms, apart from the living room and kitchenette, are well and thoroughly cleaned and serviced during your stay. The generous dinners (comprising a first and second course and dessert) are also a plus. Other positives include a separate, lockable ski locker located in the garage and the fact that the bus stop to Andorra la Vella is literally a stone's throw away. As for the downsides, there are unfortunately quite a few. Breakfast consisted of the same buffet menu every day and wasn't varied or tasty, and the selection wasn't extensive. The hot breakfast options were fried eggs, bacon, beans, and sausages, and that was it. The coffee available at breakfast was awful. The sweet breakfast items were okay, and the yellow cheese was tasty, but that was about it. Due to the limited variety on the menu, you tend to overeat and end up feeling a bit tired after a week's stay. The downside is the lack of vegetables, aside from tomatoes and lettuce. The dinners were varied, but generally average in taste (underseasoned). A plus was the ability to choose your dinner dishes. The staff speaks virtually no English (but you can manage somehow). Check-out is strictly by 11 AM, and there are no accessible restrooms in the hotel lobby, where you can wait after check-out. The service is generally pleasant (except at the reception desk, where there was a grumpy, unhelpful young woman with rudimentary English), but the waitstaff leaves something to be desired, especially in terms of hygiene. For example, I was very offended by spoons and cutlery being placed directly on the table, not on napkins, which happened a few times (and the table didn't seem to be cleaned after each guest). Furthermore, once I had a dirty fork, and another time, our napkins, on which the cutlery was placed, were stained with food remnants, as if someone had reused used napkins. The dining room chairs were stained and dirty; they were disgusting to sit on. The bathroom in the room smelled of mold, but the mold wasn't visible thanks to a thorough cleaning. The bathroom door was very difficult to open (it stuck). The furniture showed that the hotel was built in the early 2000s and hadn't undergone a major renovation since then.

The rooms are rather tired, and parking is expensive (we paid around €16 per night). Room cleaning is an extra charge (€20). Breakfast and dinner were very average. I'd say downright bad. But the location is excellent. Rentals and the ski lift are just steps away. Lockers are free. The staff is pleasant and always helpful. But ultimately, I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the money.
