Sielanka nad Pilicą

I was on a New Year's Eve trip with my boyfriend and unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. Pros: - the wellness area, which we happened upon when no one was there (swimming pool, dry and wet sauna, jacuzzi, outdoor sauna, and outdoor jacuzzi) and the adults-only hours - the opportunity to see and pet the animals in the mini zoo - the ice rink on site - beautiful areas for walks - the stables - the very nice gentleman at the reception, who extended our hotel stay by an extra hour and was very helpful throughout the trip - several types of unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages included in the package Cons: - the ice rink is paid, even for those staying overnight at the hotel - paid food for the animals - the high cost of horse riding - even though the New Year's Eve package (for which we paid quite a lot) stated the starting time for dinner, we found out we had to pay extra for it - in my opinion, the food on New Year's Eve was poor (served at the table and on the buffet, e.g., the chicken soup, which only tasted (fat) - music that was impossible to dance to (the people sitting with me at the six-person table had the same opinion) - room temperature that couldn't be changed (despite turning down the radiators, opening the windows, and adjusting the unit to 19 degrees, it still heated to 25 degrees) - upon check-out, the receptionist said we still had to pay 520 PLN per night, which we had paid the night before. After passing this information on to her, we were told that the price hadn't updated yet and that she apologized for the inconvenience. Nothing happened, but if we hadn't connected the dots, we probably would have paid for something we already paid for. Maybe it's different on normal days, but unfortunately, having stayed in hotels with various packages, I've been a bit disappointed, especially with the price-to-quality ratio.

Unfortunately, my visit to the Hotel Sielanka nad Pilicą was a major disappointment. Restaurant: The kitchen and service organization left much to be desired. Three adults ordered only main courses and received them quite quickly. I ordered soup and a main course—my soup arrived at the same time as the others received their main courses. After finishing the soup, no one brought my main course or took any notice of the situation for about 40 minutes. Only after I intervened and reminded the staff did they forward the matter to the kitchen, which only then began preparing my meal. At these prices, the quality of service and order coordination are unacceptable. Playroom: We were with three children (two one-year-olds and one almost three). The receptionist refused to allow us to use the playroom, explaining that we were outside guests—even though we had used it many times before, just when visiting the restaurant. Additionally, despite the website stating that children under 3 years of age were free, the children's ages were not inquired about and a 150 PLN deposit was immediately requested. This place, once considered family-friendly, now falls short in both service and organization. It's difficult to recommend it, especially to families with small children.

My husband and I booked a Christmas stay at Sielanka. Today we returned home, incredibly happy, rested, and relaxed. Starting with delicious meals, attractions for the little ones, a trip to the mini zoo and stables, where a lovely instructor talked about Sielanka, the horses, the rules and interesting facts about the horses and Sielanka itself, to the ice rink with a cup of hot chocolate, horseback riding, and a fantastic spa area. Plus, there's a bonfire in a wooden building called Wianek. What a wonderful and incredibly creative experience. The pool is SMALL, but you can also use the jacuzzi, two types of saunas, and enjoy a super-relaxing stone massage for your feet. For an additional fee, you can also book facial and body treatments. I booked a facial massage with a mask and a classic, deep-tissue massage. What Dominika did was a facial relaxation treatment, which I recommend to every tired mom. I had to go to Sielanka to find out what mistakes I was making with my face. Now I know, and I'm very grateful to Dominika for that. A warm, kind person, and Mr. Konrad G., who gave me the massage, restored energy to my body, exhausted from working at my desk. I feel fantastic. And when I hear "Its the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on the radio again, a song that, along with other holiday songs, echoed throughout the hotel, it brings tears to my eyes. Holidays don't have to be associated with sitting at the table, they don't have to be forced; they can be spent however we want after a whole year spent in the rhythm of work-home-work. We'll definitely be back!
