My favorite accommodation of the entire Lofoten trip! Although we initially received a letter saying our sea view room booking was overbooked and would be changed to a standard hotel room, they were very considerate and offered a complimentary 1.5-hour spa treatment as compensation (two time slots available). The overall experience upon arrival was fantastic! Pros: + The receptionists at check-in and check-out were incredibly friendly and welcoming. + The standard room itself was actually quite charmingly decorated. + I absolutely loved the restaurant (breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all in the same location). The decor was very cozy and Scandinavian, and the fjord view from the window was breathtaking 😍 I was willing to have afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast right there at the hotel. + We were the only Asian group, and seeing the Norwegian gentleman next to us made me feel like I was abroad 😆 (In popular areas south of Lofoten, like Reine, you'll hear a lot of Mandarin). + The breakfast was quite good and plentiful (259 NOK per person). + The catch of the day fish at dinner was very fresh and delicious, perfectly seasoned without being overly salty. + The spa is highly recommended! I was initially quite disappointed at another sauna, thinking that swimming pools and saunas in Taiwan offer much better value for money 😆 But this spa completely changed my mind about Norwegian spa experiences! The 1.5-hour session includes a sauna with a large glass window, a hot tub with a fjord view, a private changing room and shower, and you can even order drinks in the spa area and have them brought to you from the counter to enjoy the view! There's a staircase next to the hot tub that leads directly to the icy seawater! The hot tub and oven were both very warm and comfortable. Overall, it was incredibly comfortable and amazing. Here are a few minor points to note: 1. We went at low tide, and the stairs leading down were rocky and dark, so we were worried about slipping and falling. It was a pity we didn't get to experience them. 2. From 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM, it was already dark, so the view was actually quite dim, but we could still vaguely see the distant mountains, which was still great. It was also a shame it was raining heavily, otherwise we might have been able to see the aurora borealis. 3. The large glass window of the oven kept fogging up, so unless you kept squeegeeing (a squeegee was provided), you couldn't really see the outside view. I'm not sure if this problem would be avoided if the weather was warmer outside. 4. After scanning the QR code for drinks, the online ordering page required your mobile phone number, but for some reason, our Taiwan number didn't work. We ended up making an international call to the counter to order drinks. 5. When we arrived, the previous group of guests were still there, which confused us as we thought we were in the wrong place. It took some time to communicate with them to get our private space. Although it wasn't the hotel's fault, I suggest that clocks be installed in the oven and hot tub areas so guests could keep track of the time. 6. This isn't a major issue, just a minor reminder: the spa area and accommodation area are separate and about a 5-minute walk apart. It's fine in good weather, but it can be a bit of a hassle in the rain (this seems to be the case with most spas). Disadvantages: - Water would accumulate in the shower in our room, requiring us to pull up the entire drain cover to get it out (and even then, it was quite slow). I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident. Overall, it's a very worthwhile hotel. We booked a double room for only NT$4552 per night, which is a great deal! Highly recommended if your itinerary allows.

Sauna is overpriced and when you book last session (at 22:00) you pay the same but get 30 min less time! At sauna it's very slippery, they are not deicing paths or don't provide slippers so you have to be very careful with every step and it's so dark and dangerous you can't get into the sea! Water in outdoor shower is BOILING hot that you can actually burn yourself. Wouldn't go back and wouldn't recommend

Perfect place, fantastic nature and such a friendly staff! We saw northern lights from our cabin and the jaccuzi. But also during daytime the view from restaurant and our little red house has been amazing. You can easily go to Svolvaer and continue your trip to Reine. Staff, thanks again!
