I stayed in January while traveling for a work trip. My room was really comfortable, and I was very impressed—I had a great night's sleep. The seasonal menu was also fantastic; I had the pheasant starter and the venison main, both of which were superb. Breakfast was also very good. All of the staff I spoke with were friendly and welcoming; they are a real credit to the hotel. My employer's booking system does not normally have availability at Skeabost House due to the prices, but I think because it was off-season, the rates were more reasonable. Like the rest of Skye, nightly rates are insane in high season, but for this trip, they were ideal. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and get to stay here again soon!

Beautiful hotel, set beside water, wonderful dark nights. Staff are friendly and attentive without pestering 'Sue' at the breakfast service was superb, lovely lovely lady! 10 mins out of Portree. Highly recommended, food, although at the higher end of cost was well worth it.

I booked this hotel with the wrong dates. I called immediately upon realizing my mistake to apologize and ask if it was possible to change the room to the correct date. They refused. It's shameful.
