Smartapart Waldgasse 19 is frankly disgusting in terms of cleanliness. Dust fluff everywhere you look. It's been a long time since anyone vacuumed, let alone mopped. The equipment would be sufficient, but it seems to have already seen its best years. The stool in the living room/bedroom hardly has a speck of outer cover left. He's literally crumbling. A cover on the ceiling also couldn't be closed and seemed like it would fall down at any moment. The smell in the apartment was really bad. Ventilating didn't help, the smell has already settled in the curtains. Self check-in worked without any problems. However, that night there was a riot by drunks on the floor above. We were powerless without reception and had to endure the noise for an entire hour. To be honest, the breakfast in the cafe opposite was also tasteless and not worth the money. Service was very friendly, but the sausage and cheese were definitely not fresh. We rushed out and complained via email. And contrary to expectations, we were refunded money for 1 night as a gesture of goodwill. We didn't have to beg or fight for it, it was offered to us by the operator. This is a positive thing! The apartment is spacious and offers a living room/bedroom, entrance hall, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. Spacious and basically well divided. It had shutters so that it could be completely darkened.

The apartment turned out to be clean and spacious, which ensured a comfortable stay. I believe that the time spent here was pleasant and well spent. A big advantage was the elevator, which works without any problems. Unfortunately, we encountered two minor inconveniences - the freezer was frozen and one of the towels smelled of cigarettes. Apart from these incidents, the stay was a good one.
