I'm going to the airport now and I want to cry because I'm leaving the best hotel in the world! Let's start with the arrival at the airport - a transfer was waiting for me, which the hotel ordered for me and took me safely and comfortably to the place. Check-in - everyone was as friendly as possible, I arrived in the morning at about 8 am, but check-in was scheduled for 2 pm, my things were taken for storage, so I went to wander around the territory and fell asleep by the pool)) I was woken up around 11-12 pm and told that my room was ready, I was extremely happy with this news. The territory - I have no words. Everything is so perfect that I don't even know what to add. You have to understand that I personally am not very picky about the accommodation itself, because after all, I usually come only to sleep and wash up, but the territory and amenities are very important to me. I approached this issue very seriously, I selected 8 hotels in Nungwi and wrote down the pros and cons for each, read all the reviews, looked at all the photos, compared them with other hotels, and in the end I selected one hotel for myself, but while I was collecting all the information, my dates were no longer available, so I had to choose another hotel, I liked Smiles for its price, proximity to the ocean, and the fact that the beach there is not as high (rocky) as in other hotels that I looked at, of course I was also interested in the location and half board, but there were mixed reviews, so I didn’t expect anything special from the hotel. And what was my surprise when I got to a paradise place (I’m talking about the hotel)!!! The breakfasts are good, there are proteins, there is fiber, there is sweet, there is a choice for everyone! And the fruit… it’s something incredible! I was so full that I didn't even think about food until dinner. Dinner. I almost cried from the variety and taste of the food, and the most important thing is the people who work there, these golden cooks, the girls who help at the buffets, the waiters who are constantly smiling and helping, honestly, I don't understand how you can work all day in such heat and still be so nice and friendly in the evening and still give tips and advice to the guests, and it's all so sincere that I felt like I was on another planet where people are happy with their work. There was everything you could possibly want on the buffet, I didn't even look at the meat (although there was plenty of it), there was such a rich variety of seafood that I couldn't stop eating. Shrimp, squid, octopus, tuna - grilled, in salads, some other variations, I didn't even know that so much can be cooked with seafood))) Salads, soups, desserts - everything is delicious, the chefs have golden hands! Another reason why I was lucky with the hotel is because it is small, there are not many rooms here and on the territory you feel very free, the houses are all next to each other, but you live and relax as if in your own villa, there are always free sunbeds, you want to swim in the pool, you want to swim in the ocean, do whatever you want, there is always space, the room is very close to the ocean and to the pool and to the restaurant, I often forgot something, so I quickly ran to my room, took what I needed and returned. There is nothing like in big hotels, where you still have to walk up to 5 minutes to the sea, maybe it's not enough, but when you want to do this on vacation - you left the room and fell on the beach, that's how it was in this case). By the way, alcohol is not sold here, but this is indicated on the booking, for me it was not a problem, I thought that if I wanted to, I would go out somewhere nearby and order something, but in the end I never drank anything alcoholic, because it was so incredibly beautiful in this place that I didn't want to cloud my mind with alcohol and I wanted to remember everything as it is, dopamine and endorphin in this hotel are free🥰 well, I also saw a big plus in this, I really rested, no one shouted, sang, or shouted at night or in the evening, all the guests are friendly and adequate. If you want to somehow hang out, then of course not here, if you want to relax your soul and body, recharge, gain strength, feel life, then of course here. Of course, there was a minus, but it's not the hotel's fault, but in general this is the situation in Zanzibar - power outages, but somehow it all passed quickly. Google no longer allows you to write, so - you are the best❤️!

A very beautiful place in a great location with a lovely beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the pool and the sea. Good bedding, housekeeping every day. A pretty, well-maintained pool with sun loungers, as well as more sun loungers on the private beach, which is a beautiful beach. This allows you to avoid being constantly bothered by vendors of all kinds. Beware of thieving crows at breakfast. The restaurant service was a little slow, with simple but local dishes.
