Please note: Their website is misleading... There are several categories of rooms, some of which guarantee a view of Lumpini Park. However, when I arrived with a reservation that clearly specified a view of the park (the most expensive room), the hotel was unable to give me that view. They claimed there was an error on their website and in the reservation! Yet it was made through their official website (so / all Accor). In short, a regrettable display of bad faith. It should be noted that I had booked three rooms with this feature... costing over €1,000, and the hotel generously offered me a €47 discount for the error! Apart from that, the breakfast is not good (industrial bread, frozen croissants) and the check-in service is incredibly slow. There are much, much better options in Bangkok.

We stayed at the SO Bangkok from January 4th to 6th. Unfortunately, we found the check-in process very disorganized. We had to wait about 30 minutes before we could access our rooms. The rooms themselves are excellent. However, the breakfast offered is not up to five-star standards. There wasn't a wide selection of rolls and cold cuts. The rolls were too hard, and salmon had to be ordered separately. The cooking station for egg dishes wasn't immediately obvious. The service was adequate. We stayed in Bangkok last year, and the hotel had an exceptional breakfast buffet. Therefore, our expectations were quite high. But that's generally to be expected from a five-star hotel.

Great Christmas stay wonderful staff in the club lounge and rooftop bar ! The rooms are a little dated and have a Miami 90s feel. Amazing views over the city. Pool is wonderful as well.
