Spent the night over the toilet bowl with gastroenteritis post meal at one of the restaurants in the hotel. ( I had no lunch that day as I was fasting) Which extended into my 8 hr flight. The annoying part is that this was an emergency trip home to visit my ailing father so the added stress didn’t help. Mentioned it via booking.com and it was met with carefully worded defensive language. I had a previous great experience with Sofitel and that particular restaurant so I am disappointed .
