We stayed at the Sofitel Wentworth last Wednesday night and arrived shortly after our stated 3pm arrival time, following a six-hour drive to attend an awards dinner being held at the hotel at 6pm. Unfortunately, our room was not ready until 5pm. This delay meant we missed the Apéro Chic in Club Millésime, which was an additional $170 per person, and we were also late to our awards dinner due to having to rush getting ready. While we were offered wine and water as an apology, this does not make up for the experiences we missed. Overall, this was a very disappointing start to what was meant to be a special occasion.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at the Wentworth, our first time. We had dinner in the Delta Rue restaurant which was delicious with a beautiful atmosphere & lovely welcoming staff. Buffet breakfast too was great with a huge selection. Our room was very comfortable & we walked all over Sydney city. The location is excellent plus close to train & light rail. Definitely recommend this lovely hotel. We will return.
