From the moment I arrived, the owner’s genuine kindness left a lasting impression. The interior of the hanok beautifully blends traditional Korean architecture with modern comfort, and every single decorative detail reflects the care and thought that clearly went into the design from the very beginning. As a renovated traditional house, one might expect heating to be an issue, but the powerful ondol (underfloor heating) system made the space incredibly warm and cozy, even in the middle of winter. I slept comfortably throughout my stay and felt more relaxed than I often do in hotels. The family of cats living within the hanok added an extra layer of charm and warmth to the space, perfectly complementing the calm and elegant atmosphere of the house. After spending many years living overseas, returning to Korea felt especially meaningful, and staying at Soi Hanok made that experience even more special. It was more than just accommodation—it was a precious space and time that allowed me to rest, recharge, and create beautiful memories I will always cherish.

The landlady received us when check-in. She really went above and beyond to make this an amazing experience. We can feel her sincerity in helping us enjoy our holidays. She went out of her way to help me with my credit card dispute with a restaurant after we left GyeongJu. I really appreciated the time and effort she put into contacting the restaurant and retrieving the credit card charge ID for me. At the end is the merchant bank that had a glitch. She is genuinely taking care of her guests. I felt so welcomed and looked after throughout my stay. I highly recommend her and hope more guests will have the chance to experience her incredible hospitality!

An experience that exceeded all expectations; it's worth the price because you get what you pay for. The owner is attentive, careful, and friendly, available 23 hours a day if needed, and very welcoming. There's no breakfast option, but there are two cafes just 10 meters outside where you can have breakfast. Simply put: congratulations on this establishment. We will return.
