We stayed six nights in this 4-star hotel for around €880. At that price, we weren't expecting luxury, but still a certain level of quality… and unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. First of all, the location. The hotel is very isolated: there's absolutely nothing nearby. Without a car, it's impossible to do anything or go out. As for the room, several things were clearly damaged or poorly maintained: the floor was damaged, the table on the balcony was also damaged, there were stains on the bed and the floor, and the lamp was really dirty. We sneezed the entire time we were there, and when you see the amount of dust on the furniture, you understand why. The sofa in the room was also very worn, with holes: as soon as you sat down, you sank into them. For a hotel in this category, it's frankly disappointing. Unfortunately, the food didn't improve things: the restaurant was truly awful. The only place we ate well was the snack bar… which we only discovered on our last day. A shame, because otherwise we would have eaten there more often. As for the amenities, the television was practically unusable: the picture quality was terrible, making it impossible, for example, to watch a football match properly. And we were quite surprised to learn that the hotel makes "courtesy" calls around 8:30 a.m., which is rather strange when you're on vacation and just want to sleep. Another very frustrating point was the Wi-Fi. We reported at least ten times that we had no connection in the room, but the problem was never resolved during our entire stay. The experience with the staff was also disappointing. We found a dog with a broken leg on the property. We simply asked if they knew of any animal welfare organizations that could help. We felt like we were bothering them. The only thing they offered was to call a veterinarian, even though we had clearly explained that we were looking for organizations capable of caring for the animal. Ultimately, we had to find help ourselves. After contacting several organizations, they all told us that this hotel refused to work with them to help injured animals on their property. Learning this was very disappointing and really made us feel like we had supported the wrong establishment. Fortunately, it wasn't all bad. The view from the room was magnificent: all the rooms overlook the ocean and the lagoon, which is truly stunning. The garden is also very pleasant. Finally, the hotel offers numerous daytime activities. They are discreet: if you don't want to participate, you're not bothered, but if you do, you simply need to sign up. In summary, between the state of the room, the quality of the food, unresolved issues like the Wi-Fi, and the handling of the injured dog, the overall experience was very disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Only the view of the lagoon and the small garden somewhat redeemed the stay. We do not recommend this hotel: there seem to be many better-quality, more animal-friendly establishments in Mauritius for only slightly more money.

We absolutely fell in love with this hotel! It's perfectly located for admiring the sunrise and for snorkeling (right next to the buffet restaurant). The surrounding nature is magnificent, with a wide variety of plants, trees, and birds. The hotel offers numerous activities throughout the day, both on land and at sea, and evening entertainment. The photos don't really do it justice; upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised, and it far exceeded our expectations. The most striking aspect, however, is the service. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. A special mention goes to our housekeeper, who was exceptional and made our stay even more memorable. While the hotel isn't the newest, and a few maintenance details could be improved, with such a beautiful setting and such a fantastic team, you quickly forget these minor issues and simply enjoy the moment.
