I have stayed at Somerset Ekkamai Bangkok for almost three years, from 2023 until the end of 2025, and throughout that time, the hotel has felt like my home in Bangkok. However, my recent experience in March 2026 was extremely disappointing. In January, the hotel staff informed me of the extended stay rates and said that I could still use them if I returned in the future. I planned a 20-day trip to Bangkok. But upon arrival in March, the price had suddenly increased by approximately 400 baht per day, or about 30-40% higher than what I had previously paid, even though March is not a peak tourist season in Thailand. As a loyal customer for almost three years, I was surprised by the lack of care and room quality compared to previous years. Due to the sudden and inconsistent pricing, I decided to shorten my stay and request a refund for the 10 days I had already paid for but would not use. I sincerely hope that the hotel management will I have stayed at Somerset Ekkamai Bangkok for almost three consecutive years, from 2023 until the end of 2025, and during that time I considered this hotel almost like my home in Bangkok. Unfortunately, my most recent experience in March 2026 has been extremely disappointing. In January, a staff member informed me about a long-term rate and clearly told me that when I return in the future, I could still receive the same price. Based on that information, I planned my trip and intended to stay in Bangkok for around 20 days. However, when I arrived in March, the price suddenly increased by around 400 THB per night, which is about 30–40% higher than the rates I previously paid, even though March is not considered peak tourist season in Thailand. As a guest who stayed here regularly for nearly three years, I was also surprised that I was no longer offered the same room quality or returning guest consideration. Because of this unexpected price change and the inconsistency with what was previously communicated, I decided to shorten my stay and requested a refund for the 10 days that I already paid for but will not be using. I truly hope the hotel management can review this situation and provide a fair resolution for a long-term guest. I would much prefer to continue staying here in the future rather than moving to another hotel in Bangkok. I am currently waiting for the management team to review this case and respond. I sincerely hope this situation can be resolved professionally.

Such a fantastique hotel for families, super practical, 10min walk from the subway, they even provide a free shuttle. Large apartments, with lovely breakfast tucked away on a quiet alleyways yet minutes from the best neighborhood for families in Bangkok. Kids loved the playground in the sand and the pool. I ll come back.

Every time I go to Bangkok, I stay at this hotel. This time, traveling alone, it was no exception. I've stayed in many of their room types before. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. They try their best to assist with any problems. Although it's not close to the BTS, there's a free shuttle bus service. A special thank you to Ms. Dew at the front desk. She always tries her best to help me with any questions I have. She's always very polite and kind. ☺️☺️☺️
