Somewhere Koh Sichang

Personally, I was very impressed with this hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, starting from the day they picked us up at the pier. We stayed here for two nights. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, and the housekeeping was excellent. The staff at other hotels in the chain were also very friendly and helpful. We parked our car at the Kanary Bay Hotel, specifically in the underground parking lot, and later informed the hotel staff. They said we needed to park elsewhere, but they said it was fine and we didn't need to move the car since we were carrying heavy luggage. We were extremely impressed with the service and are very grateful for the excellent service from this hotel and its chain. We immediately signed up for membership in the chain.

The room was clean and the staff were attentive. There's a shuttle service to the pier.

January 31, 2026 This was my first time visiting Koh Sichang. I was looking for hotels with good reviews on Google Maps, and this one had great ratings and was even the hotel where the sister of the King of Thailand once stayed, so I booked it to give it a try. Here's my actual experience: If you're driving, you can park in the Somewhere hotel parking lot inside the Kantary Bay Hotel Sriracha. However, the Kantary Bay Hotel Sriracha will require you to sign some documents and leave your driver's license (they'll give you a receipt to retrieve on your return). The Kantary Bay Hotel Sriracha provides a shuttle to the ferry terminal. The ferry costs 60 baht per adult; children are free. The one-way trip takes about 50 minutes. Both the outbound and return journeys stop at Koh Kamyai Island first, then Koh Sichang Island. Once you arrive at the Koh Sichang Island pier, you need to call the hotel to have them send a car to pick you up (if you take a taxi from the pier yourself, it will cost at least 100 baht). The hotel's shuttle driver was very polite and provided excellent service. Check-in time at the hotel is 2:30 PM, so early check-in is not possible. The hotel staff at the front desk were all very polite and provided excellent service. They offered welcome drinks and, seeing my daughter was bored while waiting to check in, gave her a box of colored pencils and a sketchbook, which she loved. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a room for us on the second floor with a great view of the sea, which was fantastic. The staff carefully explained the room amenities and informed us about the complimentary snack bar from 5 PM to 6 PM. The room was quite large, the king-size bed was very comfortable, and it had all the necessary amenities. The TV had many channels, including YouTube. The balcony was also large enough for smoking or drinking beer. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, so showering was no problem. The Wi-Fi signal was good. The complimentary snack bar from 5 PM to 6 PM offered a free drink and some snacks. The hotel offers scooter rentals for 300 baht for 24 hours. Simply hand the key to the front desk upon check-out (be careful to avoid collisions or accidents, as insurance is not included in the rental fee). Koh Sichang is small, and this hotel's location makes it easy to reach various attractions. There are also many good restaurants nearby. The hotel offers in-room dining, which is quite tasty but a bit pricey. We ordered ผัดไทย and ข้าวผัดกุ้ง, totaling 427.25 baht. The hotel breakfast is good, with a wide variety of choices. The staff will ask you how you want your eggs prepared. The hotel has a small but clean swimming pool, which children can enjoy. Check-out is quick, and they provide transportation to the pier for the ferry. To return to Kantary Bay Hotel Sriracha, you need to take a tuk-tuk from Koh Loy Ko Sichang Ferry Port for 60 baht. In summary, if we have the opportunity to visit Koh Sichang again, we would definitely choose this excellent hotel again.
