The room is large and clean, though a bit worn in places, with no real issues. Everything works fine, and overall the room is very good. However, there are two main issues with this hotel. First, the valet service is slow, unreliable, and expensive, and you cannot use the hotel garage unless you use the valet service. The second issue is breakfast. It is not regularly refilled, so if you arrive later, most of the food is already gone.

We originally requested a room with two beds and a view of the Riverwalk and the Tower of America so we could come back to our room for the New Year's Fireworks party, the representive said ok and indicated to us it was what we requested, although, I never seen the Tower of America from my view on the 13th floor, I figured that perhaps it was behind the tall building next to our hotel. Then after a few days we realized that we were in fact facing the wrong direction, the second night I couldn't sleep, the bed was so uncomfortable for two and turned out the second bed was a pull out couch, I went down around 4am in the early morning and asked the man at the desk if he had another room with two physical beds available that faced the Tower of America and he said they did and it was 1201, but he wouldn't be able to do the transfer and I would have to wait until around 11 to talk to the manager about switching rooms. When I came back down around 11, I spoke with Marie who said she was the ranking person, she told me that she could not move me because the room would be used on new years eve night, because they were completely full that night, I asked her why she couldn't switch me now days before and then my room would be available for the other guests, she kept saying that they would all be full on that night and she couldn't move us, she totally didn't understand the concept that it would be the same number of rooms rented or my reasoning and refused to accommodate my request, I asked a few other ""Managers"" and none of them understood the concept. Sad customer service, Although, the Hotel rooms were somewhat clean. Also, be aware the parking is an additional $40 / night, even though Priceline indicated free parking is available. As for the free complimentary breakfast, it was the same boring selections every morning, two mornings there was no full sized pancakes, they put individual bags of cold silver dollar sized pancakes, the eggs were instant eggs and was too watery, the fruit was not fresh, almost spoiled, Not my Idea of a quality Breakfast 😕 and to top it all off, the main entrance door to the hotel would not open properly and everyone would have to try to pull the doors apart and the front desk help would just set back and stare at everyone struggling to open the doors and would not even make a effort to help. Whatever you do, Don't flush the toliet at night, you'll wake up your entire family even with the bathroom door closed, loudest toilet flush I have ever experienced. Save your money... Might I recommend spending your money at the Drury Plaza on the Riverwalk instead.
