This hotel is a nightmare. I stayed here as some work was being done on our house, and it was shockingly bad. Cons: Black mold on the walls. A serious health hazard, not to mention gross. The kitchen light didn't work, but who needs light in the kitchen, right? Especially since the stove didn't work either, so no sense in cooking. The room was outfitted with the bare minimum in kitchen essentials. The lobby was a mess, and there was a strange musty smell in the stairwell. No daily service in the rooms, as they said the staff only cleans once a week. Front desk staff was rude. They charge $250 for incidentals (a refundable deposit) that you don't find out about until you check in. Pros: They accept dogs.WiFi was free, but parking wasn't. It's next to Starbucks and a bagel spot for morning munchies (there is no restaurant at the hotel). Would I stay here again? No way. Management has a lot of work to do on this one to make it acceptable.

So I checked in for an 11 night stay. My job usually pays for the hotel room and tax, and I cover the incidentals and parking fee if there is one. I called a week before I went to see how much parking and incidentals were. They said $250 for the incidentals and no parking fee. Then when I checked in I asked again. Then I stayed my 11 nights which I was not happy with because the room smelled really bad. I asked them to come smell it several times during my stay and they claimed they could not smell because one had allergies and another couldn't smell and the females said that because of me opening up my laundry beads to try and get the smell to go away all they could smell was the laundry beads. I went to work came back at night and would smoke in the parking lot 30 ft away from the building as required. When I was checking out a day before they said it would be fine for me to leave and I wouldn't be charged for leaving early because I told her I could not stand the smell anymore and I just wanted to go home. She mentioned that they have a guest that goes and smokes weed in the parking lot every night and maybe that was the smell. I corrected her right away and said that is me that went and smoked every night in the parking lot. She said there was soneone esle too. I told her that would be fine if it was weed or smoke that i was smelling however it was not it was moldy and like something died in the walls like a skunk or rabbit. It smells so aweful. Then I get home and I am charged 82.50. When I called to ask why they said they charge 7 dollars and something cents I don't remember what exactly she said, but I told her at the beginning of my stay I was never told this and a week before my stay I called and they said it was just the 250 for incidentals. So when I was talking to her on the phone this morning I got really mad at her saying she checked me in and she always mentions the parking fee and I told her don't lie that pisses people off. She continued to say it's on their website and posted at the front desk. I told her I was there for 11 night (technically 10) and I never seen a sign about parking they never told me about a parking fee therefore I should not have been charged. I will say they had a little boy running in the parking lot at night and I brought him back in the lobby and the front desk called the cops because he only had a shirt and underwear on and he couldn't find his dad who went off in his car with a friend and left his child alone at the hotel. The cops came and then the dad. The dad said I'm so embarrassed like what? You should be ashamed the boy was only 4. And of course police did nothing. The boy had bruises on him clearly was bitten up by something all over his legs. So I was greatful for the young man at the front desk for calling the cops while I tried to keep the boy calm and talk to him and tried to get some answers. Other than that it was a horrible stay. WE DESERVE TO KNOW ABOUT THE PARKING FEE DONT TRY TO LIE ABOUT IT AFTER THE STAY IS OVER. SHAME ON THE GIRL FOR TELLING ME NOT TO TALK TO HER THAT WAY AFTER THEY LIED AND TRIED TO STEAL MY MONEY. I LOOKED ON THE WEBSITE AND I DONT SEE ANYWHERE THAT SAYS THERE IS A PARKING FEE. LIARS AND REALLY BAD SMELLING HOTEL. Oh and they only cleaned once in the 10 days I was there. Also, said if I want towels to come to the front desk and put my trash and dirty towels by the door and housekeeping will pick it up. No breakfast is provided. Honestly, $250 and a parking fee is absolutely insane for what they offer there which is practically nothing. Gym was okay, laundry room no fee until Nov.6 then they charge $6. I'm trying to be as informative as possible because it really isn't worth the price for what they offer. I've stayed at many hotels doing this job and there have been a few hotels like this that charge extremely too much and do not give full information. It's best to stick with the Holiday Inn, Marriott, or Hampton. At least you get exactly what you pay for and not ripped off. Best of luck if you do stay at this location.
