On October 8th, my mother and I visited Cedar Peak and had lunch at Ling Nam. Afterward, we explored the area and tried out a massage chair for 15 minutes. A woman offering massage products invited my mother for a free demonstration, which I also ended up trying. After a while, she launched into a sales pitch, attempting to sell the product without a valid contract, offering unreasonable discounts. She started with a suggested retail price of ₱26,000, then offered a 20% discount, followed by an "on sale" discount of 30%, bringing the price down to ₱13,000. She claimed we were lucky to get the promo, which she said only happens every 10 years. As she started writing a receipt after asking for my mother's senior ID for no reason since my mother is not aware of her tactics, I kindly interrupted and suggested we get her number or the branch's phone number to call if we decided to buy. She ignored me, saying the price would increase from ₱26,000 to ₱32,000 later. When I asked if the 20% senior discount would still apply, she brushed it off and switched to discussing installments, demanding at least ₱500 to secure the package deal. I confronted her and warned her against scamming people with her sales tactics. She was persistent and skilled at scamming, especially senior citizens who may not know much about the product. Please avoid them if they approach you in that area (near the massage chair, behind Ling Nam). Their scheme involves offering a free massage that leads to an automatic receipt without a valid contract.

We checked out at 5am and Rose said just drop the key in locker 223 and she will return the sec deposit via gcash. Until now it hasn't been returned. I called because there was some clothes left behind, they didn't answer and just kept ringing. Is that the case at Cedar Peak?
