I couldn’t recommend the Igloo Hotel. You don’t get full access to your room until 8pm - before that time your room is completely open for any visitor. They might litter in your room, sit or step on your bed, make everything dirty, and there won’t be any cleanup before handing over to you at 8pm. This is not acceptable because the hotel IS some kinda expensive, but not providing the right service. I totally understand the logic that the ice room is cold and the guests most likely want to stay in the warm shared area except sleeping time, so you might think it’s a good chance to fully utilize this period of time where the room is empty. However, it makes me feel like there is completely no point of booking a night, rather, I should just be a visitor given that the experience is similar. You charge a fairly pricy amount of money for a night - you ought to provide service that is more than just couple hours of an icy (maybe even littered) room, because that’s what visitors get to experience too. (With the same price I can actually stay in another place like 40km away, cozy, clean, and with 2 meals included.) Being able to sleep in the ice room itself is interesting but not enough. You can’t really see the beautiful sculptures anyways while sleeping, right? : ) So my recommendation is just be a visitor, you get to see those sculptures and sit on every single room’s bed, and you dont need to sleep in a fridge during the night too.

The ice sculptures at the igloo hotel were stunning! Every room I entered took my breath away with the intricate details in the sculpture. The slide was also fun! Our tour guide, Ingrid was amazing! Ingrid was very personable, friendly, knowledgeable and made our visit so much fun! I highly recommend Sorrisniva Ice Hotel.
