I recently stayed at SpringHill Suites Woodbridge, and overall, the experience fell far below expectations. Check-in was chaotic due to a full system outage, and we received no advance notice or guidance. The only workaround offered was for the front desk clerk to manually open our room door each time we needed access, since no keys or digital alternatives were provided. There was also confusion about my elite welcome gift. The clerk who checked me in gave me incorrect information, which led to awkward interactions with other staff until I finally asked for clarification on what I was actually entitled to. Inside the room, the body wash dispenser was completely empty, and despite multiple calls, I was repeatedly told to go downstairs to get a replacement. I ultimately had to find housekeeping myself the next day. We also experienced a leak in the room and had to repeatedly follow up just to get basic housekeeping service. To be fair, a few staff members went out of their way to be kind and helpful, and I truly appreciate their efforts to make things more comfortable. They were the bright spot in an otherwise disappointing stay. Because of the inconsistent service, poor communication, and maintenance issues, I can only give this property two stars. Without the handful of outstanding employees, it would have been lower.
