The stay was great and the price was good. I was charged an extra $70 for staying until 2:30 pm. The sofa bed was something out of a dungeon. It was disgusting with brown and yellow stains all over it. Please change that I regret not taking picture of it. I swear if I come here again that poop and piss stained sofa bed still remains my stay will be free. NOBODY should sleep on something so disgusting. But we found some linens in the closet and covered the sofa bed. It still felt unsafe to sleep on. REPLACE IT.

Stayed: Veterans Day Long Weekend | Duration: 3 Nights | Group: 3 Adults | Room Type: Two Queen Suite (3rd Floor, with Futon Bed) Our family stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Milford over the Veterans Day weekend while attending a nearby event. We were a party of three adults and booked a two-queen suite on the third floor, which also included a futon bed. From the outside, the property looks quite inviting and modern. However, our experience during the stay was mixed and left some room for improvement, particularly in terms of cleanliness and service consistency. One of the futon beds had a linen that appeared unclean. Despite our polite requests—both to housekeeping and the front desk—the linen unfortunately wasn’t replaced during our stay. While this may have been an oversight, it was disappointing, as we’ve come to expect a higher standard of cleanliness and responsiveness from the Marriott brand. Check-in was also a bit confusing. We were initially directed between this property and its sister hotel, the Residence Inn next door, before getting settled. While this was eventually sorted out, a clearer check-in process would certainly help future guests have a smoother experience. Around the room, there were a few signs of wear such as peeling caulk and some marks near the wall art. We also noticed some food spills near the elevator that seemed to go unaddressed for a while, which suggested that the housekeeping team might currently be stretched a bit thin. On the positive side, the suite’s layout was very functional, with two TVs (one in the main sleeping area and another near the futon), which was convenient. The space itself was comfortable and reasonably quiet. It would have been nice to have a small locker or safe in the room for added convenience, but overall the amenities met basic expectations. At the time of checkout, there was a bit of commotion in the lobby with what appeared to be a guest-related issue requiring police presence. While this seemed to be an isolated incident, it did add an unexpected note to our departure. In summary, this property has potential and offers a convenient layout and good location, but it could greatly benefit from more consistent housekeeping standards and staff support. Once these areas are addressed, it could easily live up to the strong reputation associated with the Marriott brand. For now, I’d consider this a 3-star stay with room for improvement.
