Absolutely Fantastic Stay. Perfect for Volleyball Families! Our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Downtown was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care that we had a great stay. That kind of service really stands out. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and super comfortable,perfect for relaxing after long days at the tournament. And the free breakfast was such a great bonus! There were plenty of options and it was the perfect way to fuel up before heading out for the day. One of the biggest highlights for us was the skywalk connecting the hotel directly to the Baird Center. Since we were in town for our daughter’s volleyball tournament, being able to walk indoors straight to the venue was incredibly convenient. No worrying about weather, parking, or hauling gear across downtown, just walk right over! We loved our stay so much that we’re actually coming back this weekend for our other daughter’s volleyball tournament. That should say everything about how great this place is. If you're coming to Milwaukee,especially for events at the Baird Center,this hotel is an absolute home run. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to stay again! 🏐

2 reasons I will not be staying here again: 1. housekeeping did not come once even after I asked the front desk 2. A/C is incredibly noisy making it impossible to sleep with it running

This hotel has very friendly and helpful staff-- I felt like a welcome guest during an anime convention, which is usually the time staff would choose to be short and irritable. Everyone from the desk staff to housekeepers and valet were pleasant and helpful. Special shout out to Leslie at breakfast time-- she was cheery and happy, keeping the tables clean so more guests could be served. I liked my room, but this building is old and quirky so the shape was very odd. Finding the skybridge to the convention center was odd as well, as there WAS a passage on the second floor but it was not clearly marked. Breakfast was hit and miss-- on one hand, the scrambled eggs were much better than normal hotel eggs, but the lack of a waffle iron was mystifying. Fresh fruit was very tasty, but the juice machine was faulty-- one day it didn't work at all, other days it seems the water/concentrate mix was wrong (far sweeter than normal). It can't compare to a Drury, but was a nice way to start the day. Downtown Milwaukee has a dearth of good parking, so I opted to pay for Valet. It was pretty expensive, but they were quick to bring out my car when I needed it. Quick tip-- use your cell phone to call them, because the room phone either can't or won't dial them, and it uses an automated system to call you back when the car is ready. Overall, I've stayed here twice and found it pleasant both times. Would definitely recommend.
