If I could give this place 0 starts I would. I recently had one of the worst experiences at a Marriott due to overbooking at a nearby Marriott Element property, which rerouted me here. Upon arrival, the front desk employee—who claimed to be the acting manager—was immediately confrontational and on a complete power trip. He refused to listen to any of my questions or concerns, interrupted repeatedly, and escalated the situation unnecessarily. When I tried to discuss the rerouting and my needs, he became aggressive, angrily pacing around the lobby while threatening to call the police on me for no valid reason. This was not a case of a difficult guest; I was simply trying to resolve a booking issue (basically reserving a room and not having one available upon arrival at 1am in the morning). His dismissive, hostile attitude made what should have been a straightforward check-in feel intimidating and unsafe. No apology, no attempt to de-escalate, and no effort to uphold basic Marriott hospitality standards. I've stayed at many Marriott properties and value the brand, but this incident was shocking and completely out of line. Management needs serious training on guest service and professionalism. I won't be returning to this location and would caution others. Ended up staying at Tru By Hilton across the street- which had amazing staff all around. Time to switch to Hilton Honors.
