HOTEL FROM HELL ! I stayed here for week through work and can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room I stayed in was absolutely disgusting and pretty much everything in it was broken. See the video I uploaded to see what I mean.

Horrendous Hotel don't stay there. On arrival it was a bad sign the big car park was empty. The reception area was clean. We collected our door card and the walked up to the room. l wasn't impressed with the carpets they were soiled and it was dirty. Outside our room was a lot of dirt. The room was big with dated furniture. Curtains were obviously recently put up straight out of the packet and not ironed. The tea making facilities consisted of two sugars two coffees and a few pots of milk. No bath towels and the bed looked unmade with three very tired pillows and a spring sticking out the side. There was no loo roll. We spoke to reception and got towels and loo roll. We paid for breakfast to be told there was no breakfast as they only had one member of staff to do everything. We were in Sheffield to go to my husband's mums funeral so we said it was only one nights stay we'd put up with it. We went down to the bar which was empty apart from the bar man. I asked for a white wine he said all they had was a half of bottle of Rosie. God knows how long that had sat there. No lemonade as no pumps working and no beer at all. The bar tender was polite and apologetic and recommended a pub opposite which was fantastic and they gave a warm welcome and served wonderful food. In the morning I had a shower it flooded over the floor as it was blocked. I had to wash my hair with the shower hose over the toilet. My husband went to tell reception and the man gave him the room next door to have a shower. It is a run down disgusting hotel and apparently it used to be lovely and host weddings then covid took it's toll followed by it being occupied by immigrants. It is not fit for purpose but could be lovely if money was spent on it.

Horrendous service bathrooms are in a bad state, no shed so no food available although you can still pay for breakfast! Bar is run down no stock, great location and good carpark but that’s all that was good about our stay
