Don't recommend at all! Went here with my sister (two females) and we didn't feel safe at all! We were put on the ground floor, and we could hear men/young people right outside our room all night every night. We expressed to the staff if we could move and they said no. These people outside could literally see into our room so we had to keep the blinds closed the ENTIRE stay. We even came back one evening to find the receptionist sleeping at the front desk.. Yes it is close to the Gare du nord station which is why we booked this place but highly regretted it. As for the room, yes decent size but the room was bare minimum. We couldn't even lock the room on the inside for further protection. No water provided, wasn't the cleanest upon arrival and simple things like a mirror in the room was not available. I would never stay here again. Avoid!!

By Parisian standards, the hotel is quite good, close to several metro and train stations, and a 25-minute walk from Notre Dame, so it's fairly central. The receptionist, Alexandre, who greeted us, was very friendly. The room was a normal size and the bathroom was clean, but in our room, the toilet was too close to the wall, which makes things difficult for taller people. I also missed having a hook near the shower tray, as you either have to find a way around it or get your towel or the floor wet—it's up to you. The kitchen, as you can see in the photos, is very small, with a microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and capsule coffee machine. The kitchenware for two is adequate. There's an iron and ironing board, a brush and dustpan (though you have to bend down to use them), and a mop. By the way, for those of us who travel by motorcycle (although we didn't this time), they have covered parking spaces at the hotel for €30 per day. I mention motorcycle parking because the parking is very limited and has a fairly steep incline. There are a few maintenance and cleaning details that could be addressed to improve the hotel's appearance. There's no daily cleaning unless you book it in advance. If your stay is longer than 7 days, they clean your room each day. We don't mind this; in fact, we almost prefer it, as it gives us more independence. The towels are very good; they dry wonderfully and, despite being white, are very clean. There are two bath towels and two hand towels. The bedding is of good quality, and the beds are a bit soft for our liking, but we slept very well. There are two pillows and a cushion, so you can manage for different preferences. There are only vending machines. In the area, there are quite a few bistros, brasseries, and restaurants of all kinds, from fast food and tourist fare to neighborhood bars and fine dining. Now for the downside: the hotel is located between two alleyways and community centers, which means that groups of homeless people and some overly rowdy young people congregate in the area. This contributes to a persistent smell of urine in the surroundings. While it's true we didn't have any problems in 7 days beyond the unpleasant smell and the sad sight of the harsh social conditions, I'm not sure if I would stay there again. However, this time it was very economical, and I would consider it for the future.

We stayed at their hotel at the end of September and were very well taken care of by Xavier and Alexandre; they helped us with everything we needed; even during that time my wife and I were sick with a bad case of the flu, and they helped us a lot with doctor recommendations. The good facilities and proximity to the subway were other attractive features. Comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen. We will be back! Merry Christmas, Xavier and Alexandre!
