Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. We were there a year ago, and I can confidently say that the hotel has deteriorated significantly over that time – in virtually every respect. The most striking aspect is the extreme discrimination against nationalities. This hotel clearly caters to German guests, who are treated significantly better. Guests from other countries must present their tickets or face additional fees, which is completely unacceptable. The room allocation is also unfair – Germans and Dutch guests are given rooms in the better wing of the hotel. It was very upsetting to see how the employees are treated. There was a lack of respect, pressure, and the impression that they were treated like cheap labor. I believe the managers should not be in their positions, as the management of the staff is outrageous. I feel like this approach is imposed from above, which leaves an even worse aftertaste. The only bright spot on this trip were the hotel employees – the waiters at the pool, in the lobby bar, and in the dining room. They are incredibly friendly and open, they talk to guests, try their best, and truly care about the atmosphere. They saved this trip, and they deserve a huge thank you. The food has also deteriorated significantly – practically the same every day, whereas a year ago, the menu was varied and there was something different every day. The cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. The linens weren't even changed every other day, and housekeeping was very poor. In short, in just one year, the hotel has fallen to a very low standard. We will definitely not be returning. The most regrettable thing is the staff, who deserve much better treatment and working conditions.
