The hotel looks beautiful, the charm of history and the surroundings of the Castle are breathtaking. Unfortunately, we were only there for one night, but it was worth it😇 We were accommodated in room 202, one of the larger rooms, which surprised us because it is also barrier-free. Anyway, we also picked out a great view. As for the rooms, they are really beautiful and the furniture is old but well-maintained, even the curtains are from that time, lamps, pictures, carpets, just a really cozy room. You would forget if there wasn't a TV and a hairdryer 😃. The bathroom is great for me. Anyway, I also recommend the wellness, we were in a private jacuzzi, clean, with candles and a bottle of Bohemia sparkling wine and there was also a TV 😃 😇 As for the staff at the reception, pleasant and helpful ladies, in the restaurant the girls were running around and the food was great, lots of choice. We just picked out a table that wobbled. So that's probably the only thing that bothered us a little. Anyway, I would add a small bowl for pecking in the room. As for the bowl of fruit, cut it into smaller pieces or put a knife. We were unnecessarily afraid that we would drop something. (Pineapple, orange, watermelon,...) Thank you! We enjoyed it ❤️

Hello, my husband and I visited the Štekl hotel over the weekend. The big disappointment was the wellness, where the pool with the countercurrent was icy, which we didn't use. It was cold everywhere, I understand, "heating an old hotel is unrealistic." I think the hotel would need a big financial injection overall, you can see it at every step. It certainly doesn't live up to the 4-star rating.
