Excellent location, friendly staff and very spacious suites. However, a bit more expensive than a comparable hotel in London. Also, the dine-in options are limited, but the options available are simply DELICIOUS. Suggest for hotel management to reconsider their cuisine offering..

This is a review from Taiwan: After our trip to Edinburgh, we arrived in Manchester and chose to stay at this hotel, but the overall experience was quite disappointing. The staff member at the front desk, an Asian man wearing glasses, was unacceptable – his attitude was frivolous and extremely unprofessional. He didn't make eye contact when speaking to guests, neither offering a greeting nor any basic introduction. The entire process was perfunctory, lacking even the most basic courtesy and respect. This was the first time during our two-month trip to Europe that we encountered such terrible front desk service; it was truly shocking and disappointing. Before check-in, the hotel sent several emails inviting me to upgrade my room or purchase dinner; however, upon arrival, when I inquired about using the afternoon tea the following day, I was directly refused. This was completely inconsistent with the "flexibility and attentiveness" described in the previous emails. This hotel left a very poor impression. Aside from its excellent location in the heart of the city center, the rest of the experience simply didn't justify its price. The service quality clearly falls short of its positioning. The toiletries in the bathroom, being gel-based, completely clump together in the cold weather, requiring considerable time and effort to use each time, significantly diminishing even the most basic comfort. Overall, this is a hotel with a "decent location, but severely lacking service," making it difficult to recommend.
