Awful customer service very dirty room's smells very bad like the room's haven't been cleaned yet but it's really more of their pestilence problem they need to make more of an effort to get to the root of the issue and possibly renovation might be key here.

The shower water wasn't working, and the sheets and towels were in poor condition.

Our experience at this Studio 6 was extremely concerning, and we ended up leaving immediately. We booked online, and I’ve stayed at Motel 6 locations in other states before with no issues, so I expected something basic but clean. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The first room we were checked into was infested with cockroaches. They were on the walls, on the pillows, crawling in the microwave, and even in the bathtub. There was also hair on the sheets and cigarette burns on the bedding. To be fair, the room did not look dirty in terms of grime or housekeeping; it actually appeared clean. The issue was the severe pest problem and the condition of the linens. The front desk attendant was patient and professional, and he actually offered us a different room without us even asking, which we appreciated. The second room wasn’t as heavily infested, but we still saw roaches, and it reeked of marijuana from a previous guest. There were also people openly getting high in the parking lot, which didn’t make the property feel safe or well-managed. When we requested a refund, the gentleman at the front desk got a little sassy with his movements while printing the receipt, but honestly, I suspect he works an incredibly tough job given the crowd and conditions he deals with. He still issued a full refund and ultimately handled the situation properly. After meeting with family later, we learned that this property is often used by the state to shelter a portion of the local unhoused population, which explained the activity we saw outside. This is not something someone from out of the area would know when booking online. The rates are very affordable, and I understand the “you get what you pay for” aspect, but basic pest control, clean linens, and a sense of safety are still minimum expectations anywhere you stay. This property needs significant attention before it’s ready for guests. On a positive note, the online photos are fantastic; they just do not reflect the current reality due to the bug issues. Based on our experience, we were unable to stay and cannot recommend this location.
