I was surprised at how many things bothered me. - The table was sticky. - There was a ton of small debris scattered on the sofa. (Bread crumbs from the previous guest?) - The shower room was covered in mold. - There was hair in the sauna room. - The tablet in the room was only at 2% charge. - There was no charging cable. - The tablet was in Chinese. - The video playback in the theater room was still on the previous guest's account. (There was a notice stating that guests should log out upon leaving, but the inn didn't seem to check this.) - The language was Chinese. - The shabu-shabu dinner was explained to guests. The contents were different from the booklet. (The condiments listed on the instructions were missing or in the wrong place.) - The appetizer portion was clearly smaller than the two-person portion shown in the photo. (There was one small bowl for two people, not one per person.) - The shoe locker at the entrance to Suigan was missing, but our room's was the only one missing. - Even though we checked in at Holiday Building, the reception at Suigan hadn't been informed. (If we hadn't mentioned it, we would have had to check in again.) I never expected a room costing over 100,000 yen to be so poorly maintained. There were many other things I'd like to mention, but I'll leave them out. Is this room cleaned? It was a wonderful room. The open-air bath was very comfortable and wonderful, so it's a shame. I was really looking forward to this inn, so it was a shock. I hope this review will help them improve things even a little.

I read many reviews and had a lot of doubts about this place, but I'm so glad we decided to stay here. It's wonderful. It's really worth it; if you're unsure, come with confidence, it will be good. It's very different from other places I've stayed that had onsens. It's not the kind of service where someone is constantly coming into your room, serving you, and giving you advice on various things. This place is for you to stay in your room, alone and relaxing; nobody talks to you, you don't have contact with anyone (I loved that part). Speaking of the room, what a room! I stayed in room 103, which had a delightful outdoor bathtub. The shower was also perfect, with various temperatures and different ways the water comes out. The amenities are also very good; I had an enviable facial care routine. Towels, bathrobe, kimonos, pajamas, everything available. Excellent beds, comfortable. I loved the food; the soup experience was great, there was a generous portion, and I eat a lot, so I was absolutely satisfied. The breakfast is wonderful, perfect bread, wonderful milk. Everything was very good. The lack of stars is only due to the service aspect, as we felt there was a lack of information for foreigners regarding arrival, buses, and also some service at the hotel, but I believe this is more a cultural issue than a genuinely bad service. I loved it, I would stay here several times. The city is beautiful. Oh, and about the price, it's worth every penny. I stayed in another hotel that offered this service all the time and it was more than double the price I paid here (much more). If you have the opportunity, come.

The front desk staff were very nice, but the bathroom in my room, which I was most looking forward to, was broken, so I was very disappointed that I couldn't take a bath. They didn't offer much of a discount on the price even though I couldn't use the main bath, so I reluctantly agreed, but I felt they could have been a little more considerate.
