Sumahan Suites and Spa

We booked our stay (2 rooms) through the VeryChic website. The booking included a round-trip shuttle every day as well as a complimentary dinner. Upon arrival, we were informed that only one of our two bookings benefited from the free shuttle because two different resellers had operated the service. After checking our confirmation emails, we confirmed that we had indeed received the free transportation included in our stay. We arrived late morning and were able to get our rooms earlier than expected, which we greatly appreciated. We stayed in rooms 115 and 116. Room 116 had no Wi-Fi, a cordless phone on the desk, lamps without bulbs, and a box of tissues and a minibar (which wasn't plugged in) remained empty throughout our stay despite our request to reception. There were two dry larvae on the bathroom mirror, which were cleaned on the second day. There was no tea or coffee, no bathrobe, and no slippers. There must have been quite a few oversights in the room preparation. We only had dinner at the hotel once. The food was fairly good, however, our dessert arrived still frozen. Upon our departure, we were surprised to see that our dinner had been charged, despite the offer promised by VeryChic, because "we didn't request the complimentary dinner." After speaking with the receptionist, the dinner was made free. Breakfast was also quite good. It's probably usually served buffet-style, but there were very few guests at the hotel, so it was served at the table. However, we didn't have a menu offering the different choices. The hotel is a bit removed from the center, but the setting is really lovely and peaceful. The walk to the Menara Mall (not the square) takes about 30 minutes. We had a very pleasant stay; the view from the room was magnificent and the room itself was lovely, but the service definitely needs improvement for a 5-star hotel. Special mention to Hicham for his smile and kindness!

A very nice and quiet hotel in Marrakech. Clean, comfortable, and well-decorated rooms. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is excellent. Great location and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommended for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Hotel without hot water despite 2 complaints, problem not resolved. We spent 3 nights without a shower, no light in the hallway, total darkness. Hammam for 700 dirhams, a very exorbitant price. Staff very friendly. The owners pay marketing agencies to post good reviews on Google, but it doesn't reflect reality. Read all the reviews before booking. We were alone in the hotel, no other guests, very strange.
