We were given probably the worst room, i.e. the attic, which was not sufficiently adapted for sleeping. The roof windows are covered with a very transparent roller blind. Furthermore, a fire alarm flashes directly above the bed.

Potential with room for improvement! Price-performance ratio is okay. There were problems right from the start. We had checked in online beforehand, but they knew nothing about it on site… We had booked a room with a park view and paid extra for it. In the end, there were trees blocking the view. 😤 The refrigerator in the room didn't cool properly. 😤 I had to lean out of the window to see the colonnade. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel has a nice ambiance. 🙂 Breakfast was delicious. Dinner was too – except that on three out of three evenings, it was lukewarm to cold! At least the beer was warm. 😤😤😤😤 The buffet is only partially replenished. The hotel bar closes as early as 7:00 pm. 😱😱😱😱 A relaxing evening was out of the question! The service was satisfactory. We had a spa weekend. Booked including 3 treatments… 3 treatments were done in one.

Despite having booked in advance via Booking.com, check-in took a while (data collection, copying IDs, etc.). The hotel's location is fantastic: quiet yet central. The room is very large and spacious. The TV is relatively small, but the view is all the better for it. The refrigerator had clearly not been used for some time and smelled strongly of old plastic. There was still hair in the shower/bathtub and toothpaste residue from the previous guests in the sink. The shower screen also leaked. The "wellness area," especially its "pool," was a complete disappointment. The pool was exceptionally small. It could only accommodate a maximum of six people. The advertised temperature of 31°C was nowhere near reached (around 22°C). Dinner was plentiful and varied – there was something for everyone. However, drinks had to be ordered and paid for separately. Unfortunately, the prices were relatively high: 270 CZK (around €11) for two 0.5l shandies. Breakfast offered plenty of variety – but only for those who prefer savory options. For everyone else, the selection (bread, jam, pastries) was very limited. Otherwise, the ambiance was very pleasant at a reasonable price.
