Worst than the worst! Negative 1 stars. I must agree with all the other reviews and add the smell of roach spray in the hallways.

I booked a room here for my sister and I after a concert since we didn’t want to drive home late at night. The moment we arrived in the area, I regretted it. The area felt extremely unsafe — a couple different men approached us within the first two hours we were there, and the entire street looked sketchy. The building directly next to the hotel was shut down and falling apart, which made the whole place feel like something out of a dystopian movie. When we got to our room, it REEKED of cheap cologne, and the bathroom had a large window with no blinds — completely unacceptable for privacy. Thankfully, we only had to be in the room to change before the concert. After looking up more reviews, I saw multiple people mentioning roaches and other issues, which just confirmed our decision to leave immediately instead of staying the night. So we ended up driving home, even though that was the exact reason we booked the room — to avoid doing exactly that. We’ve stayed in budget friendly hotels before, but this one genuinely felt unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially solo travelers or women. That being said, I wouldn’t say it’s entirely the hotel’s fault — the surrounding area in general has become extremely rundown and sketchy. If you can avoid staying in this part of New Jersey altogether, I strongly advise doing so.
