We stayed here for a couple of nights while traveling through Illinois, and it was a solid experience for a budget-friendly hotel. The rooms were clean, smelled fresh, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable I actually got a great night's sleep. The staff provided top-notch service; we were greeted with a smile right at check-in. As for the location, it’s tucked away in a quiet area but still offers easy access to the main roads and local shops. The breakfast is your standard fare, nothing fancy, but definitely enough to get your day started. Overall, it’s a great value for the money if you’re looking for a comfortable place to crash without breaking the bank.

This place needs a full reset. The room looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. Stains on the carpet, weird smell as soon as you walk in, and the sheets didn’t feel fresh at all. The bathroom was the worst part: old fixtures, weak water pressure, and grime in spots that should’ve been cleaned already. Noise was a problem the entire night. You could hear people in the hallway, doors slamming, and cars pulling in and out like the walls were paper thin. The AC unit barely worked and kept clicking on and off, making it even harder to sleep. Service didn’t help the situation either. Staff acted like you were bothering them anytime you asked a simple question. No sense of urgency, no friendliness, just bare minimum effort. The lobby didn’t feel welcoming, and even the breakfast area looked like it hadn’t been touched up or restocked properly. For the price you pay, it doesn’t match the quality at all. You’re basically paying for a bed and four walls, nothing else. If you need a last minute spot, it might get you through the night, but if you want a clean, quiet, comfortable stay, this isn’t it. Final note: I travel enough to know what basic standards look like, and this location doesn’t meet them. A little effort from management could go a long way, but until that happens, I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone who wants a decent night’s sleep or even a basic level of cleanliness.
