Perfect location to access the main drag and convention center. *Oh, don't check-in online - they send you that from corporate and take all your info, but they don't send it to the hotel, so you have to do it again anyway in person, so save your time.* Our room was on the third floor and was recently painted and had modern fixtures. The carpet and comforters were dated, but not stained or anything. Each (comfortable!) bed has its own room with a closing door and TV, making this great for couples trips or traveling with kids. The bathroom was small but the sink and vanity were outside it and spacious which is an arrangement I like. The water pressure in the shower wasn't awesome, but it got the job done just fine. The view from the balcony is great and the ac/heat works well and helps drown out road noise if you're on the front side - it didn't bother me and I didn't need to use my white noise machine. The free breakfast is packaged Little Bites and NutriGrain bars - nice to have but I usually bring my own because of food allergies, BUT WAIT, let me tell you about the coffee: this lobby coffee maker is one of those on demand espresso numbers and it's right on up there with the best hotel coffee I've had (and if you follow me, I have stayed in some posh places and I'm kinda a coffee snob). Everyone at the convention center with their sad, watery $5 lattes was jealous. They also had Swiss Miss hot chocolate and my daughter was pleased. The staff I interacted with was friendly and professional and informative. This will be my go-to for staying in Sevierville now.
