Pros - Ample amenities - Free breakfast (with a wide variety) - Clean facilities - Excellent staff service Not so great - Small public bath - Only three washing areas, and lines formed during peak night hours - Public bath opening hours Perhaps because it's a business hotel, men's bathing hours are too long. It would be better to extend the bathing hours for women depending on the day of the week or events. - Small rooms, and the pillows are mysteriously too hard (You can choose your preferred pillow on the first floor, but it's first come, first served.) - Only one elevator, which can get crowded at times. Not so great, but since breakfast is free from 6:30 AM and the number of seats is limited, guests kept arriving from the start time, making it very crowded.

I've been using Super Hotels for quite some time, but The prices have gone up dramatically over the past year or so, and yet, when I check in at night, I see new students who look like they're on work experience, or people who don't even smile or seem angry. Things have changed a lot since a few years ago. There are some very friendly staff, but I feel sorry for them. I think the owner should change his hiring standards, like not using only children when hiring, or at least making sure they smile. I've stayed at Super Hotels all over the country, but the level of customer service doesn't match the price or the room rate in Utsunomiya. The only things that haven't changed are the rooms, which are still clean, and the ladies who serve breakfast are still really nice, which is a good thing. The welcome bar in Utsunomiya has a great selection of alcohol. 👍Even though it's a Super Hotel, the quality of the welcome bar varies depending on the location. Free breakfast and the cash-back points system are also nice points. 👍
